Why Boys Fail in College. 2nd Year (Prose)

A thought provoking essay that deals with the only aspect that why boys fail in college, its reasons and consequences and above all, the most fruitful, that how the failure can be avoided.
Many type of students have been presented as a proof of the intensity of the observation, the writer observed closely.
1: A boy with " Nervous Habits " : is the boy who is unable to concentrate on his assignment. He keeps himself busy in the study hours by creating his own world beyond the books. This type of student is seen doing useless activities in the presence of open book. Instead of reading, he remains busy in doing the works which cause him not to study but waste his time. He can avoid this if he seriously makes his mind to focus on book and not paying attention to the things which distract his attention from the book.
2: Mistaken ambition is a very dire cause of boy's failure, observed mostly in Asia. It stops the boy to get education of his own choice, instead it forces the student to work according to the wishes of his parents.
He does not want to become, what his parents want him to be. His attention is no more given importance and he has to walk on the road, constructed by his parents.
3: According to the writer, A brilliant boy who had done very good at School, with just a little effort, fails to get through the college examination. He becomes a victim of superiority complex and thinks that even in college he will float with as little effort as he did in the school. This kind of boy is the most pathetic as all his abilities are going to be wasted without his knowing.
